At 8PM on Friday 6th April 2007, Sala Café Bar re-opens under new management at 60 Broughton Street, EH1 3SA. Sala is not only in the heart of Edinburgh's Pink Triangle, but is also based in Edinburgh's LGBT Centre. Historically Sala has had a popular lesbian following. In this relaunch as a traditional Spanish Café Bar, we extend our welcome to Edinburgh's growing LGBT community, its Spanish people and of course the adventurous gastronome. Back to basics good, wholesome Spanish cooking is the basis of our menu. To our knowledge, Sala is the only Edinburgh venue to offer free tapas with every alcoholic drink purchased. Our opening party is Friday 6th April at 20:00 (8PM). Free tapas and cava will be served all night, this is an open party, feel free to bring friends and hangers on! See you there? Joe. Contacts: Joseph Hill or David Edwards, Proprietors, Sala Café Bar: 0131-556 5758 / 07763 851920.
