 This Caledonian brewery pub is hidden away between the lively Grassmarket area and and an area what some locals refer to as 'The Pubic Triangle'. The beer is the Edinburgh regulars Caley 80 and Deuchars IPA. This pub is a friendly, no frills pub that is well down to earth.

Well, it´s gone now... ´Twas a lovely pub while it lasted.
And now we´ve a bunch of folk looking for a new Thursday and Saturday pub. We´re not after much: central and handy for nightbuses (so open late enough to make nightbuses worthwhile would be good), beer on handpump and a good lager on draught (KJ´s had IPA and Budwar), not so noisy you can´t talk across a table with 6-8 folk round it....
If you know of somewhere, please let us know!

Karol is off his mince every night he´s there. One time I found him trying to climb up the puggy machine to fetch "a pot of gold". Pure nuggets man. The sad part is that this is just after 3 pints.
