 This pub is tucked away in a wee corner and you can easily miss it. I have only just stumbled across it myself! It was formerly called Braidwoods until it was recently done up. This pub offers a quiet setting during the day where you can enjoy a pint or pub lunch in this former Fire Station. It was only a one appliance station and some can still remember this station in action. Naturally, it's a fire brigade theme that awaits you inside, It can be a loud lively pub, popular with younger revellers at weekends. There is also a popular quiz night on Tuesdays.

The food was ace. Really cheap. Good atmosphere, friendly staff and lovely pints. Pity it aint there anymore. Downer.

Fashionable for the moment with the trendies but they will soon find somewhere else to be seen in.

good little pub, though if you go when your drunk you may think its alot bigger than it actualy is. still a nice place, has a video jukebox and all that
