 This pub used to be the Burns Alehouse but it was recently re-invented for a younger crowd and given a new cool looking frontage. This cool looking bar does look a bit odd as it is sandwiched between the William Hill bookies and the now deceased Post Office, stands out like a sore thumb. It's relatively civilised establishment but a tad on the small side - it's quite long and narrow and dark but it does have some nice wooden booths you can settle into to get away from people constantly pushing past you. It is quite a laid back bar with friendly bar staff and is very handy for the Pierino's chippy 2 doors down although it does serve its' own food, stuff like noodles and nachos and also caters to the cappucino sippers in the daytime. If you get the chance, grab the window seat as it is great for being a nosey nebber and a spot of people watching. Open Mon-Sun 1000-0100.

Brilliant bar, brilliant choice of drinks, great food, fabulous atmosphere and best of all friendly staff.

The best place in the world for an all day session - try the full breakfast with several Hoegarden or a bloody mary - it rocks!!!

If you´re looking for live music in Leith go to Nobles or across the road to the cougar lounge. Friday night in Nobles is good, Sunday in the Cougar a brill night if you like your live tunes.

This is a great wee bar, the cappucino´s are superb and the staff show the same welcome to regulars and newcomers alike.. unusual for a trendy bar where the staff are usually up their own butt... I like Isobar!

This is a great wee pub with a relaxing atmosphere. The food is really good - the breakfasts are huge! I love the fact its an independent bar and you can get lots of different drinks. Good cocktails, Hoegaarden on draft, fab schnapps and choice of beers. They do a mean cappucino too!

It would agree with Blair, Iso-Bar is great, especially Russell who not only has razor sharp wit but also a unique sense of style and cute cheeks.

This bar is great, It had Hoegaarden on draft which I like very much. Joe who commented above is clearly a fool who doesn´t know a good thing. The staff are great and they have a resident fiddler named Phil.
