The Cameo Bar, Commercial Street, LeithThe Cameo is a great bar - great beer, great food, great staff, even a great putting green!! The bar has a good relaxed atmosphere, the staff are very welcoming, and I challenge you not to have a good day or night here.

The layout of the bar is a little unconventional, with steps, little snugs, bigger snugs, window seats and a back room for big screen football or ice skating. The bar menu is tasty (and the food is even tastier!) and is popular at lunchtimes and after work times. There's a good selection of beers and there's often promotions happening.

There is also a good quiz night on Sunday nights. The Cameo even has it's own web site, but I think the best thing you can do is to get yourself down there .

was once the best place to take my son to watch the football. kids no longer allowed and atmosphere not the same as when it was independent. waste of a good pub. shame!

Doesn´t have table licence for under 18´s. Don´t try taking your 17 year old daughter to the restaurant

Pity the lost trade will hurt

Oh Anya you are the wind beneath my wings. My life would be so empty without you. Be mine.

There´s a beautiful barmaid works here now, I wish I knew her name. I think she´s from Poland or Romania or somewhere - she´s gorgeous.

I was wondering if you could forward the Cameo´s email to my address above as I am looking for a music venue for the festival and would seek their advice for what music tastes they cater for
Tks

Cheap and unfussy, looking a bit rough despite all the paint though...
and that´s just the barmaid.

Naff bar, zero ambience, bad decor, rude staff.

This is my local and I love it. The fire is great - all different areas to sit. Great offers - there is always a bottled beer on offer for just £1.30 (all the time) Rolling Rock last time I was there. Good selection of drinks and although there is a limited bar food menu the food is always excellent. There are daily specials too which are good if you eat there a lot so you can get a bit of variety!!
The only downside is that it can get quite smoky.

This bar is the business. The staff couldn´t be nicer and the regulars are all characters. You can chill out of a winters afternoon in front of the fire drinking great beer or play a round of putting on a hot summers day, pure genius!! Best of luck with the extension guys.

Well worth a look in on saturday nights. Good selection of beers and a staff team thats difficult to beat. I wonder what it will be like when they expand next door. I hope it doesn´t lose it´s ambience!

Great staff and the locals made us feel very welcome - well worth the time spent there - how a pub should be
